Memories of Sprotborough Hall

( D.V.D Film)  price £10.00  plus £1.00 post and packing.

Introduced by the 7th Baron Cromwell the film is a gem.  Sabina Stirland lived in Sprotborough Hall as a servant to the last residents.  She recalls life there including; the other servants, visitors and of Brigadier General Sir Alington Bewicke-Copley and his wife Lady Selina.

The film is superbly illustrated with photographs provided by the 7th Baron and also by Sabina herself.

The Hall was demolished in 1926 and the film continues the story by following up what happened to everyone thereafter.  It gives an excellent insight into life in a Country House and the vastly different worlds that existed.

Contains many previously unseen pictures.
